NAPLES (AP) — Authorities in Maine say a 39-year-old man was killed when his car apparently went off the road and struck a large tree.
A Cumberland County sheriff’s deputy found the body of Carroll L. Morton, of Casco, around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when he came across a single-car crash in Naples.
It appears that Morton had made a left turn before his car ran off the road and hit the tree.
The crash remains under investigation and alcohol is believed to be a factor.
