From the Journal Tribune: “Results of the Foav Court community survey have been completed, marking another step forward in the development of two downtownn parks. (Biddeford) plans to use a $15,000 HUD (Housing and Urban Development) grant for the construction of the proposed parks, at Foav Court and behind the Stone Soup Food Pantry.”

From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “A very pretty wedding took place Saturday evening, August 29, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Wentworth, Parsonsfield, when Gertrude May Wentworth and Charles Garner Fox were united in marriage. The lawn on which the ceremony took place was decorated with evergreen and brilliantly illuminated with Japanese lanterns.”
