OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Don Tardif and Tami Lyn Westbrook opened Tami Lyn’s Place with no restaurant experience in 2012, and now the restaurant is the only five star rated restaurant in Old Orchard Beach on Trip Advisor. The couple said they had no idea about their ratings until a customer told them about it. “We seem to be hitting the mark,” said Tardif.
The couple attributes their success to using fresh ingredients, making food from scratch, accommodating customer requests and providing friendly service. Popular menu items include seafood, steak bombs, biscuits and gravy, chowder, warm lobster rolls and pizza with panko coated crust. Tami Lyn’s Place is located at 126 West Grand Ave.
