Julie Gray, an artist from Saco, is seen painting the wall of the Jefferson Street side of 265 Main St. in Biddeford Tuesday. In March, the Biddeford Public Art Committee began collecting proposals for artwork to grace the side of the building. The committee, the Heart of Biddeford, and building owners Caleb Johnson and David Flood chose Gray as the winning artist from a pool of 15 applicants. She anticipates the mural to be completed by next week.
