PORTLAND — Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has canceled his appearance at Hadlock Field scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 15th. Former Celtics player and current television analyst Brian Scalabrine is now scheduled to appear at Hadlock Field, presented by Aura, on Aug. 15.
The Sea Dogs were informed that Brown was no longer available to fulfill his commitment.
Scalabrine will throw out the ceremonial first-pitch and will be available to sign free autographs for fans from 7-8p.m. Scalabrine is available to sign any item, but fans are limited to one item per person.
Scalabrine had an 11-year NBA career with the New Jersey Nets (2001-2005), Boston Celtics (2005-2010), and Chicago Bulls (2010-2012). Scalabrine is currently a Celtics television analyst with Comcast Sports New England.
The Sea Dogs are scheduled to host the Altoona Curve (Pirates) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Sea Dogs ticket office at 207-879-9500 or online at www.seadogs.com.
