SACO — Khatera Kakar and Benjamin Deletetsky are pleased to announce their engagement. Khatera is the daughter of Mohammed and Masooma Kakar of San Jose, California. Benjamin is the son of Peter and Patricia Deletetsky of Saco. Khatera graduated from Valley High School in Elk Grove, C.A. and has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from San Francisco State University and a master’s degree in international studies from the University of San Francisco. She currently works for a Bay Area nonprofit. Benjamin graduated from Thornton Academy in Saco and has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Wentworth Institute in Boston. He is employed as a senior project manager at General Lighting in San Jose, California. They plan to wed on May 15 in San Jose, California.
