WELLS — The Wells Public Library will be closed Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31 for construction. It will reopen Wednesday, April 1 at 10 a.m.

The book drop will also be inaccessible.

While the building is being worked on, the Kennebunk Free Library and Rice Public Library in Kittery have offered to provide temporary assistance. Wells residents are eligible for a free Kennebunk Free Library card as part of a reciprocal agreement. Non-residents may temporarily use their Wells Public Library card to check out items from the Kennebunk Free Library and from the Rice Public Library.

There will be no fees or fines accrued while the library is closed. Those who receive a letter or e-mail telling them they have a fine should disregard that letter.

For more information, contact the library at 646-8181.
