HARRISBURG, PA — The Portland Sea Dogs and Harrisburg Senators were postponed on Friday night due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM. Friday marks the 14th postponement this season for Portland.
Portland is 2-2 on their seven-game roadtrip, which started with a series win in New Hampshire (July 24-26)
The Sea Dogs have LHP Dedgar Jimenez and LHP Trey Ball as their starting pitchers for Saturday’s twinbill. Harrisburg has RHP Gregg Ross starting one of the games. Doubleheaders in the Eastern League consist of two 7-inning games.
