BIDDEFORD — Jeannette Desneige Grenier, 95, of Biddeford died on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Southridge in Biddeford.

She was born on March 28, 1922, in Canada. She moved with her mom and dad, Albert and Marie Anne LaFlamme to Biddeford, Maine, when she was a very young girl. Jeannette attended local schools until her mother made the decision to take her out of Washington Public School to help take care of her 10 brothers and sisters.

She married George Grenier on January 25, 1941. He was a loving husband and father to their children. They spent 64 loving years together until his death in 2006. She was a stay-at-home mom and worked a few part-time jobs, but always made time to love and care for her three children and her beloved husband.

Jeannette is survived by: three children, Monica Barabe of Kissimmee, Florida, Veronica Forcier of Biddeford, and Robert Grenier of Biddeford; two sisters; Yolande Langevin of Biddeford, and Rachel Tourigny of Biddeford; a brother, Fern LaFlamme of Venice, Florida; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Predeceased loved ones, but not forgotten are: Ray LaFlamme, Guston LaFlamme, Herve LaFlamme, Gerard LaFlamme, Laurette Pothier, Pauline Lariviere and Priscilla Rouselle.

Visiting hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hope Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.

Donations in Jeannette’s name may be made to St. Joseph Church, 178 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
