WELLS — Erica S. Noble, a resident of Wells, died unexpectedly at her residence on Feb. 9, 2015.

Erica was born June 20, 1949 in Waterville, a daughter of Wayne E. and Ruth A. (Pearson) Susi.

Erica graduated from MCI in Pittsfield in 1967, from the University of Maine Orono in 1971, and went on to receive her master’s degree in education in 1974. She attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. Upon graduation, she returned to Wells and opened Noble Chiropractic in 1997, which she owned for 18 years.

Erica loved her family and friends. She also loved animals and was always concerned for their welfare. She also wrote weekly medical informational articles for the Journal Tribune.

She was preceded in death by: her parents.

She is survived by: her son, Ben Noble and his wife Desiree of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Gisele (Noble) Lamper and her husband Matthew of Pittsfield; sisters, Jan McBean and her husband Andre of the Virgin Islands, and Pascale Eisold and her husband Scott of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Keiran Wickerham of Wells and Keller and Arden-Lamper of Pittsfield; and a loving circle of friends.

The family has chosen to celebrate her life. A gathering will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, located at 236 Eldridge Road, Wells, ME 04090. All that have come to know and love Erica are invited to share in the celebration.
