SACO — Carmen (Beaudoin) Rice, 66, of Saco died at Gosnell Memorial Hopsice House with her family around her on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015.
She was born on Jan. 26,1949. Carmen attended Biddeford schools and graduated from Westbrook College.
She worked for over 27 years at Unum before retiring from there in 2001. The remainder of her career was spent at WEX, Inc., where she was employed for 14 years.
She is survived by: her beloved husband, Robert, of 42 years; a son, Matthew Rice and daughter-in-law Jennifer Rice; her sister, Priscilla (Beaudoin) Oxton; a brother-in-law, Guy Ruel; a sister-in-law, Spring Rice; several nieces and nephews; a grandson Jack; as well as many dear and loving friends.
In keeping with Carmen’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours, and services will be private.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Southern Maine in Scarborough at 180 U.S. Route 1.
