
She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on Oct. 2, 1939, a daughter of Melvin B. and Virginia M. (Herrick) Hughes.
On July 28, 1978, she married her husband, Harold. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family.
Barbara was employed by Volk Packaging in Biddeford for over 20 years. Her hobbies included watching Days of Our Lives and The Voice. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and their family dog, Mable.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold Brewer in 2002; her son, Gary Little in 2011; by one brother, David; and one sister, Sharon.
She is survived by: two sons, James Little and his partner, Mandi Cote, and Craig Little and his wife, Zhe Fan; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by: her brothers, Harry, Earl, Richard, Edward; her sister, Suzie; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco.
