PORTLAND — The Portland Sea Dogs have announced that they have rescheduled a Patriots player appearance at Hadlock Field after the May 9th cancellation of Malcolm Mitchell.  Jacoby Brissett is now scheduled to make an appearance at Hadlock Field, presented by Aura, on Tuesday, June 27 when the Sea Dogs host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at 7:00 PM.

Brissett will throw out the ceremonial first-pitch and will be available to sign free autographs on photos provided by the Sea Dogs from 7-8 PM.

The New England Patriots drafted Brissett in the third round in the 2016 draft out of North Carolina State.  Brissett won his first NFL start on Sep. 22 against the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium. The Florida native rushed for a 27-yard touchdown, the longest for a Patriots quarterback since 1976.  Brissett appeared in three games with the Patriots during his rookie season.

Brissett attended William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Before transferring to North Carolina State, he played two years at the University of Florida.

The Sea Dogs have hosted several Patriots players at Hadlock Field over the past several years including Dion Lewis (2016), Malcolm Butler (2015), Shane Vereen (2014).
