Experience Australia as Marie Jordan shares her Australian travel and birding experiences in the areas around Cairns, Queensland and the Northern Territory on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Her piquant presentation will fuel participants’ minds as she takes them down under to see beautiful, unique birds ”“ from honeyeaters (pictured here) and parrots to kingfishers and kookaburras. She will show the unique scenery and Aborigine rock paintings in Kakadu National Park and speak about the haunting sound of the didgeridoo. Evening programs are free, open to all and no reservations are needed. Meetings are held in the Mather Auditorium of the Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm, 342 Laudholm Farm Road in Wells.
