BIDDEFORD — Henrietta Desrosiers Osborne, 92, of Biddeford, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born in Biddeford on May 6, 1922, the daughter of Edgar and Marie Anne Lessard Cordeau, and she was educated in Biddeford schools.

Mrs. Osborne worked as a seamstress for family and friends for many years. She worked a few years for Allied Shoe, retiring in 1987.

On Nov. 18, 1988, she married John E. Osborne in Old Orchard Beach. He died on Oct. 1, 1999.

She was a member of the Rochambeau Club in Biddeford.

She enjoyed sewing, watching soap operas, especially “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.” She loved dancing, making puzzles, Jumbo Books, and playing LCR with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her first husband of 42 years, Roland Desrosiers, in 1985; her sons, Robert Desrosiers, in 1966, and Marcel Desrosiers in 2008; and her sister, Theresa P. Morin, in 1996.

Surviving are: two sons, Paul Desrosiers and his companion Connie Bellerose of Biddeford and Richard Desrosiers and his companion June Pelletier of Kennebunk; five daughters, Joanne LeBlanc and her husband Richard of Sanford, Muriel Nemet and her husband Robert of Arundel, Diane Lawrence and her companion Scott Croteau of Biddeford, Susan Bedard and her fiancé Dennis Cyr and Debbie Presby and her husband Clint, all of Saco; two sisters, Ruth Cyr and Paulette Flaherty, both of Florida; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
