
Gayle was born in Biddeford July 13, 1942, the daughter of Joseph A. and Susie E. Grant Pilon, and is a graduate of Kennebunk High School, Class of 1960.
Gayle worked as a bookkeeper for the former Ames and Zayre’s department stores in Saco for over 30 years, and when she had free time, loved to ride her horse and go motorcycle riding with her husband Raymond.
Survivors include: her husband, Raymond Marcotte of Biddeford; two stepsons, Mark Marcotte of Limington and Steven Marcotte of Biddeford; a stepdaughter, Laura Kitchin of Hollis; a brother, John Pilon and his wife, Mary, of Arundel; a sister, Janice Rosa–Miranda and her husband, Roberto, of Dover, New Hampshire; a niece, Renée DesRoberts of Biddeford; a nephew, Lance Rosa–Miranda of Alabama; and six grandchildren.
Services will be private, interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Kennebunk.
