In the early 1960s, she was employed at the WonderBar Restaurant in Biddeford, where she met and later married the love of her life, her dear husband, Lucien Huot.

Pat and her husband entertained the residents at their home for a barbecue every summer.

In the early ’60s, Pat and her husband purchased the Elmwood Motor Court, which was formerly in the Huot family. Here, she enjoyed meeting new people and the daily tasks involved in running the motel. After selling the motel, they enjoyed spending winters in Florida with family and friends. Pat also enjoyed bowling, knitting, crossword puzzles, crafts of all kinds, and watching “Days of Our Lives,” “NCIS,” and most of all, the Boston Red Sox!
