TIVERTON, R.I. (AP) — Students at Roger Williams University have come up with three plans to redesign a Tiverton beach.
The town owns Grinnell’s Beach and the state owns the Stone Bridge pier and is planning to renovate it and build pedestrian walkways and benches.
The Herald News reports that the town asked Roger Williams University for help developing a design for the area. Students who are part of the university’s Community Partnership Center met with residents three times in July in design symposiums.
