
He was born in Biddeford, Maine on July 15, 1949, a son of Leslie J. Amadon Sr. and Rita O. (Benoit) Amadon. He was a 1967 graduate of Kennebunk High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam.
He is survived by his son, Evan Amadon and his wife, Tammy; two grandchildren, Courtney and Connor, and one niece and one nephew.
Services will be held Tuesday, May, 9, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery, located at 83 Stanley Road, Springvale, Maine. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the name of John Amadon to the Animal Welfare Society of West Kennebunk, Maine.
