SANFORD — The following people were arrested or charged by Sanford Police from April 7 through April 11:
• Angela Sawyer, 35, 457 New Dam Road, was arrested on a warrant on new Dam Road at 5 p.m. April 8.
• Chantelle Marie Byrd, 24, 790 Main St., Apt. B, was issued a summons charging operating a vehicle without a license and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs on Main Street at 8:38 p.m. April 8.
• George Steven Roberts, 22, 21 Roberts St., Apt. A, was arrested on a warrant on Roberts Street at 7:30 p.m. April 8.
• A 17-year-old was issued a summons for possession of marijuana during a vehicle stop at the intersection of Main Street and Cedar Lane at 10:22 p.m. April 8.
• Korey A. Lasante, 25, 41 Theriault St., was arrested on a warrant on Main Street 10:37 p.m. April 8.
• Kevin Lee Edgerly, 38, 142 Grammar Road, was arrested and charged with attempting to elude an officer, aggravated operating after suspension, assault, criminal speeding of more than 30 miles over the limit, violating conditions of release and refusing to submit to arrest at 1:13 a.m. April 9 at the intersection of Grammar and Ledgewood streets. During the same traffic stop, Jodi-Lynn A. Hussey, 42, 395 Sanford Road, Apt. 4, Alfred, was issued a summons charging permitting unlawful use.
• Richard James Pitts, 58, 59 Oak St., Alfred, was issued a summons at 6:28 p.m. April 9 charging criminal mischief.
• Three people were arrested on shoplifting theft charges at 8:26 p.m. April 9 at an unnamed Main Street business. Benjamin Ryan Hall, 21, 7 Bates St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting theft and violating conditions of release. Michael Andrew Clapp, 21, 20 Errol St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting theft and violating conditions of release. Robert L. Watson, 22, 7 Bates St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting theft.
•Two people were issued summonses at 12:32 p.m. April 10 on Main Street. Aurora Cantara, 53, of 21 Wentworth St., Biddeford, was charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia and failure to pay fines for operating after suspension. Casse Melinda Keaton, 27, of 287 Elm St., Apt. B, Biddeford, was charged with sale and use of drug paraphernalia and failure to pay fines for operating after suspension.
• An 11-year-old was issued a summons for theft on Main Street at 6:56 a.m. April 11.
