SACO — A 19th-century naturalist workshop will be offered for children ages 6-10 at the Saco Museum on Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants will view the museum’s natural history collection complete with mounted birds, an ostrich egg, sawfish saw, bony fish fossil and a mastodon molar, and will embark on an outing to collect natural specimens to transform into paint prints back at the museum.
