BROCKTON, Mass. — The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (16-28) and the Brockton Rox (26-20) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Raging Tide that was able to capitalize on them, as the Tide pulled out a 7-3 win at Campanelli Stadium.

Aaron Wilson put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Tide, as he doubled in the third inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

The Brockton lineup had no answer for Dylan Morrow in the late innings. Morrow held the Rox hitless over the final two innings, allowing no earned runs, walking none and striking out three batters.

Tom Marcinczyk had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits for Brockton. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings.

Evan Brisentine improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Raging Tide. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked two and scattered 10 hits.

Bill Maier ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, as he was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3.2 innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed three runs as he had an early end to his start.
