BIDDEFORD — Jeannette Bourque, 89, of Biddeford, passed away with her family by her side, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
She was born in Biddeford on Jan. 13, 1925, a daughter of Henry and Florida (Poulin) Cantara.
She was educated in local schools.
She was a homemaker who raised five sons. Her family was her life, and she loved to spend time with them.
Mrs. Bourque was a member of the former St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.
Jeannette was preceded in death by: her husband, Rene G. Bourque, on Feb. 9, 2007; and five siblings, Ted, Raymond, Conrad, Irene and Germaine.
She is survived by: her five sons, Gerard R. Bourque and his wife Lori of Saco, Richard D. Bourque, Roger L. Bourque, and Roland H. Bourque and his wife Deborah, all of Biddeford, and Donald D. Bourque of Naples, Florida.
Jeannette also leaves behind: one brother, Robert Cantara of Biddeford; two sisters, Theresa Cote and Doris Couture, both of Biddeford; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
