BIDDEFORD — Born Christina Mae (Welch) Camire went by the name of Christine. Born of April 1, 1930 in Kennebunkport, Maine and passed away Jan. 20, 2019 at St. Andre’s Health Care in Biddeford.
She retired from Shape, Inc. in the mid-1990s and then traveled some and loved spending her winters in Florida. For many years, she liked to crochet and did beautiful work, also like many crafts and making puzzles. Especially enjoyed every minute with her family.
She is survived by a daughter Valerie (Camire) Pelletier of Biddeford; three sons, Renald and Carolyn (Gregoire) Camire of Biddeford, David and Melody (Parker) Camire of Biddeford, and Steven and Debbie (Gagne) Camire of Biddeford; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Eleanor (Gagne) Thompson of Kennebunk, and a brother Sherman Thompson, of Cape Porpoise.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
