
Born April 28, 1945, Carl was the son of Frank and Aurore Laverriere.
He is survived by: three siblings, Frank Laverriere, Mark Laverriere, and Dawn Laverriere Craig; several nieces and nephews; his ex-wife, Katherine MacLean West; and a stepson, Christopher Mason.
Funeral arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel and he will be buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A graveside service will be held in early summer.
Carl graduated in 1963, from Thornton Academy. He attended the Portland School of Art, was a science fiction author, an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and his many travels overseas.
Carl worked several years as a security officer at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
