Maine State Police have obtained a felony warrant of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer for Lynda Phillips, 44, of Rochester, New Hampshire, according to a press release from Maine State Police issued Saturday.
In February, Maine State Troopers began to investigate Phillips for allegedly stealing about $1,600 in cash and lottery tickets from her employer in Lebanon.
Investigators have been unable to locate her and believe she is still living in the Rochester area.
Maine State Police are asking anybody who knows the location of Phillips to contact Trooper John Darcy at 657-3030 or the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7127.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
