WATERBORO — Michael Peter Thompson, 53, of Waterboro, passed away on June 16, 2014.
Michael was the son of Edward R. “Peter” Thompson Jr. and his wife Rosemarie of Lake Wales, Florida and of Warren; and Carole P. Arnaudin and her husband Robert of North Berwick.
Michael worked for many years in the trucking industry and was a former member of Teamsters Local 25.
He was an avid Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed playing hockey. Mike loved his life on Little Ossipee Lake and will be fondly remembered for his ’80s rock ‘n’ roll days.
Michael is survived by: his sister, Robin Thompson Estes and her husband Kenneth of Eliot; his brother, Jeffrey Thompson and his long-time companion Jill Burley of Pelham, N.H.; and his friend, Christine Arnaudin Smith and her husband Justin of Berwick; two step-brothers, Allen Cole and Robert Cole; one step-sister, Trina Cole Bryant; five nieces, Kayla, Dani and Emily Estes, and Jennifer and Amanda Thompson; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Ray and Dru Thompson, and John and Lillian Cropper; and his cousin, Robert Blake.
Services will be held privately by the family. Arrangements are with La Paz-Graham’s Funeral Home, Las Cruces, New Mexico.
