BIDDEFORD — Jeannette E. Paradis, 94, of Biddeford, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Southridge Living Center in Biddeford.
She was born in Biddeford on Feb. 1, 1920, a daughter of Camille and Rosilda (Roberge) Lizotte.
She graduated from Biddeford High School and attended York Community College.
Jeannette was employed by Pepperell Manufacturing and retired from Herman Shoe.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Paradis was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Edgar Paradis, in 1943; five sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by: two daughters, Joanne Giroux and Nancy Rabida; two sisters, Rita Wilson and Gilberte Desmaris; one brother, Lionel Lizotte; six grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at Laurel Hill Cemetery Chapel. Entombment will follow the service. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home in Saco. To sign the guestbook or leave condolences, go to www.cotefuneralhome.com.
