BIDDEFORD — Richard P. ”Moose” Parenteau, 74, of Biddeford died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 after a long period of declining health.
Born in Biddeford, he was a St. Louis High School Graduate, an Army veteran and a longtime employee of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
Surviving are Margaret Parenteau, his wife of 47 years of Biddeford; two sons Christopher Parenteau and wife Christine of South Portland and Michael Parenteau and wife Dawn of Gorham; a sister, JoAnn Parenteau of Biddeford and Winter Haven, Florida; and four grandchildren.
Visiting Hours will 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Dec. 28 at 10 a.m. in the Hope Chapel.
