SANFORD — Claire L. Cadorette, 92, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough.
She was born in Sanford on Aug. 28, 1921, a daughter of the late Albert and Hermine Letourneau.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jean Urbain Cadorette.
She is survived by: two daughters, Jeanne M. Mailhiot and her husband Richard of Saco and Denise C. Ryan and her husband Brent of Biddeford; grandchildren, Richard Mailhiot of Lewiston, David Ryan of Washington, Adam Mailhiot and Alyssa Ryan, both of Biddeford; great-grandson, Aaron Mailhiot; two sisters, Jeanne Angers of Sanford and Anne Marie Bouthot of Eliot; one brother, John Letourneau of Biddeford; sister-in-law, Cecile Letourneau of Sanford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial will be that afternoon at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford.
