School vacation has ended, but before the week was up, Maine Game Warden Rick LaFlamme of Arundel paid a visit to the Arundel Parks & Recreation Department during April vacation week to explore the Eastern Trail with local schoolchildren. LaFlamme taught the children about safety in the woods, respecting public and private land, identifying signs of animals and birds that live in the Maine woods, identifying trees and did some bird calling as well.
