BIDDEFORD — Biddeford Police Chief Roger Beaupre is alerting motorists that The Maine Water Company will be repairing a waterline in front of 36 Pool St. on Tuesday.
While the estimated project completion time is four to six hours, as with any construction work, complications may extend the total time to complete, so traffic may be affected from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Pool Street will be reduced to one lane in the area and traffic will be rerouted.
In-bound traffic will be detoured onto Hill Street.
Out-bound traffic will travel on the single open lane, the police chief said.
Signs will be posted along Pool and Hill Streets by the Maine Water Company and they will also be using traffic-control flaggers at the site.
No parking signs will be posted throughout the project area by the Biddeford Public Works Department.
