The University of Maine is taking nominations for its sports Hall of Fame. Nominees must have been unaffiliated from the university for at least five years. Forms are available at www.goblackbears.com. The submission deadline is Friday.

The PAYSA fall travel soccer program will hold a registration and information night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 14 at Riverton School and tryouts on May 7 at Fitzpatrick Stadium. Maineiax Lax Club will hold tryouts for its girls’ and boys’ travel teams in May. Tryouts for the U11, U13 and U15 teams are tentatively scheduled for May 1. Tryouts for U17 to U19 for boys and 2013 and 2014 girls are tentatively scheduled for May 22. Tryouts will be held at Cape Elizabeth High. There is a $10 tryout fee.
