
Norman L. Fortier, 80, of Worcester, Massachusetts, died Thursday, Dec. 22, in Tufts Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He leaves: his wife of 59 years, Ann M. (McNamara) Fortier; three sons, Daniel J. Fortier of Worcester, Massachusetts, John J. Fortier and his wife, Terri of Lewiston, and Kenneth P. and his wife, Viktoria K. of Chaplin, Connecticut.
He is preceded in death by a granddaughter Shannon Fortier.
He was born in Portland, the son of Rosario and Jeannette (Roy) Fortier. Mr. Fortier worked for Borden and Prince for 35 years as a sales supervisor, retiring in 1995. Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
His funeral is Tuesday, Dec. 27, from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave., with a Mass at noon in Christ the King Church, 1222 Pleasant St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, 507 Park Ave., Worcester, MA 01603.
