SACO — Myron “Mike” B. Deering, passed away on Jan. 6, 2014.
Mike was born April 26, 1935 in Denmark, Maine to Myrtie and Ralph Deering.
Mike was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran of more than 20 years and finished his working career as a carpenter.
Mike enjoyed reading, gardening and mowing the lawn.
He is survived by: his wife, Betty; their three sons, John, Dave and Dale, all from Saco; two sisters, Lois Starbird from Solon and Merle Castle from Alexandria, Va.; and several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Per Mike’s request, there will be no formal services. Arrangements are with Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, Buxton, www.dcpate.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the MS, Lupus and American Cancer Society. He is loved and will be missed by many.
