BIDDEFORD — The Committee on Public Secondary Schools, of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, has recommended that the school receive continued NEASC accredidation.

The decision was based on a report prepared by a visiting committee to the school, which evaluated the school betwen May 15-18 of this year.

We feel that the Committee’s decision confirms the results of the extensive self-study which our faculty and administration conducted for 24 months,” said BHS Principal Jeremie Sirois in a release Thursday. “We are convinced that the findings of our self-study, coupled with recommendations of the Committee on Public Secondary Schools visiting committee, will assist us in developing priorities for further improvements in the school. “
