SANFORD — Classes at the new Sanford High School and Regional  Technical Center have been delayed for one day. Classes will start at the new school on Wednesday, Oct. 10, Superintendent David Theoharides has announced.

The first student day at the school, located on Alumni Drive off Main Street, had been scheduled for Tuesday, but the decision was made to hold off for another day.

“This will allow an additional day for staff members to finish moving equipment and materials to the new school, and for setting up classrooms,” Theoharides said.
