Paul Freeman Welch, 90, “Zip” to everyone who knew him, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, after a period of failing health. Visiting hours will be held 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, with a Masonic memorial service to follow at 7 p.m. with the Brethren of York Lodge No. 22 officiating. Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the York Lodge No. 22 AF & AM Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 55, West Kennebunk, ME 04094.
