BIDDEFORD — Unofficial election results show Biddeford’s two incumbent Democratic representatives will hold their seats in the next legislative session.
Incumbent Democratic Rep. Martin Grohman has narrowly defeated Independent challenger Matt Lauzon in the race for House District 12. In the race for House District 11, Incumbent Rep. Ryan Fecteau has defeated his opponent, Republican candidate Renee Morin of Biddeford.
House Districts 11 and 12 and cover parts of Biddeford.
Grohman bested Lauzon by a narrow 233 votes, earning 1,847 votes overall to Lauzon’s 1,614. Fecteau crushed Morin 3,185-1,507, solidifying his spot in the Legislature by a whopping 1,678.
