BUXTON — The Buxton town clerk’s office will be open at Town Hall, 185 Portland Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 29 to issue absentee ballots and register voters for the Nov. 8 election.
Absentee ballot applications are available at Town Hall or online at: maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/ AbsenteeBallot/index.pl
Absentee ballots can also be mailed out at the request of the voter by calling 929- 6171.
The last day for Buxton voters to request a regular absentee ballot is 4:30 p.m. Nov. 3. After that date, a special circumstances absentee ballot application must be signed by the voter to receive an absentee ballot.
