KENNEBUNKPORT — Have you got a passion to share, a good story to tell? Pecha Kucha Kennebunkport is the place to do it. At a past Pecha Kucha event, Claire Unsinn shared her celebration of her Franco-American heritage through fabric, and Steve Price shared his musings on mud season in Maine.
A Pecha Kucha presenter has a timed show of 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds. That’s just six minutes and 40 seconds to explain your idea or tell your story.
Those interested in participating may send submissions for the next Pecha Kucha Night on Nov. 10 at Atlantic Hall in Cape Porpoise. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 26.
The application consists of three to five sample images, a short description of the presentation and a brief biography. Submissions may be sent to pechakucha. [email protected]. For more information, email [email protected].

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
