READFIELD — The Old Orchard Beach football team won its second-straight game with a big 43-7 win over hosting Marancook.
The Seagulls fired on all cylinders, with Cody Blanchette hauling in a touchdown pass while Dylan Boudreau rushed for two scores.
Tom Fregeau also added a rushing touchdown while Mike Davis and Brian Davis also scored.
OOB will host Lisbon next Saturday at home.
Kennebunk 27, Marshwood 22
After falling behind early, the Rams would grind out a tough, late win over hosting Marshwood.
The Rams trailed 7-0 at the end of the first quarter, but Jake Littlefield scored a 4-yard rushing touchdown to even things up.
Brian Hickey would then haul in a 14-yard touchdown pass to give Kennebunk the lead in the second quarter.
The Hawks fought back, and eventually took a 15-14 lead into the halftime break.
Tripp Bush and Justin Wiggins would go on to score a pair of rushing touchdowns in the second half to put the game out of reach and secure the win.
Wells 60, Lake Region 0
The Warriors continued their impressive season with a 60-0 shutout over hosting Lake Region.
Wells remains undefeated and remain atop the Class C South standings.
Girls Soccer
Waynflete 2, Old Orchard 0
The Seagulls lost a tough 2-0 game against Waynflete on Friday.
After a scoreless first half, Waynflete managed to grind out two goals in the second.
OOB had a handful of opportunities, including a shot off the cross bar late in the game, but could not even the score in time.
Goalie Tiffany Leclair recorded four saves.
Cross Country
Biddeford placed third in its meet against Bonny Eagle, Cheverus and Noble.
Sam Millis led the Tigers, placing third. Seth Perry finished close behind in fourth while Thomas Kaiser was fifth.
Field Hockey
Cheverus 2, Biddeford 1
Paige Laverriere got the Tigers on the board early, giving Biddeford the 1-0 lead at half.
The Stags would strike back in the second thanks to two goals from Sophia Pompeo to close out the win.
Thornton Academy 5, Noble 0
The Trojans stayed hot Friday with a shutout win over Noble.
Bella Robinson scored two goals on the day while Taylor Ouellette and Emma Dutremble scored on apiece.
Goalie Issy Capozzi also scored, coming out from the net and scoring on a tip-in.
