WESTBROOK — Despite failing to score in the first half, the Biddeford football team pushed past hosting Westbrook 20-7, Saturday.

Entering the second half trailing, the Tigers took control of the game and rushed all over the Blue Blazes, including on two rushing touchdowns from running back Brady Crepeau.

The Tigers scored their third touchdown in the remaining seconds of the game when punter Tom Bertrand took the fake for over 80 yards for the score.

The Tigers remain unbeaten with a 4-0 record while Westbrook falls to 2-2 on the year.

Kennebunk 35, York 6

The Rams kept their unbeaten record alive Saturday with a win over the visiting Wildcats.

Pat Saunders continued to dominate on the ground, rushing for two touchdowns on the day.

Senior Nolan Ragnarsson also got in the mix, rushing for two scores on the ground as well.

The Rams are now 4-0 on the season.

Thornton Academy 17, Windham 13

TA quarterback Michael Laverriere continued to lead the Trojans Saturday with a tough 17-13 win over visiting Windham.

TA struggled to gain traction early in the game, but managed to get two rushing touchdowns from Laverriere, along with a field goal from Cam Cadorette.

Each defense battled hard in the second half, not allowing the opposing offense to score.

Marshwood 4, Masabesic 1

The Hawks cruised to a 4-1 win over Massabesic Saturday.

Skylar Renaud scored the Mustangs’ lone goal on a penalty kick.

Field Hockey

Kennebunk 3, Fryeburg 1

The Rams were led by Christine Jarowicz with three goals in their 3-1 win over Fryeburg. Kennebunk goalie Liv Kudas also had a strong performance in goal, recording seven saves.
