
BIDDEFORD — Donald J. Dubois, 83, of Biddeford, died on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
He was born on Jan. 11, 1935, to Alcide and Annette (Simard) Dubois in Biddeford. Donald graduated from St. Louis High School with the Class of 1954.
On March 19, 1966, he married Juliette Plourde at St. Martha’s Church in Kennebunkport. They spent 48 years together before her death on June 21, 2014.
Donald worked locally as a TV repairman before starting a 26-year career with WCSH TV as a transmitter engineer, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed working with electronics, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus for more than 50 years.
Donald is survived by: his two sons, George D. Dubois of Cornish and Patrick J, Dubois of Biddeford; a daughter, Monique I. Miller of Sanford; a brother, Roland Dubois of Norfolk, Virginia; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at St Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel. To share condolences online, please visit www.HopeMemorial.com.
