KENNEBUNK — The Kennebunk golf team pushed past Biddeford 9-4 Tuesday afternoon 9-4.
The Rams had solid outings from many players, including Alex Champagne, who shot a team-low 48. Spencer Desrochers, Chris Grady and Casen Luck were close behind at 50, while Owen Manahan finished at 52.
Despite the loss, Biddeford’s Carter Burnell shined, shooting a match-low 47 on the day.
Kennebunk improves to 5-0 on the season while Biddeford drops to 3-2.
Massabesic 11, Sanford 2
The Mustangs stayed hot and cruised to an 11-2 win over Sanford at Dutch Elm County Club.
Caleb Roy shot a match-low 45, while teammate Ryan Townsend shot a 46, and Ethan Laverriere shot a 47. Jordan D’Alessandro led Sanford with a score of 51, while teammate Dean Johnson shot a 54.
Lake Region 7, Wells 0
The Warriors were shut out by Lake Region Tuesday at Cape Neddick Country Club. Shane McNeill led the Warriors with a score of 47, while Nate Olsen shot a 54 and Chuck Oliver a 55.

Biddeford 3, Falmouth 0
The Tigers made easy work of Falmouth Tuesday, completing a 3-0 sweep. The Tigers won by scores of 25-16, 25-22 and 25-14.
North Yarmouth Academy 3, Well s 0
Despite falling in three sets to North Yarmouth Academy, a handful of Warriors had solid outings.
Megan Schneider had three kills and seven blocks, while Alicia Bridges tallied seven digs. Michelle Desjardins also recorded two aces and two kills, while Kait Schott racked up two aces, a kill and eight assists.

Thornton Academy 1, Portland 0
The Trojans pushed past Portland 1-0 Tuesday, thanks to a second-half penalty kick goal by Chase Pierce. Colin Daly recorded four saves for TA.
Field Hockey
Massabesic 2, Marshwood 1
It was a battle of two unbeaten teams Tuesday, and the Mustangs came out on the winning end.
Logan Champlin scored in the first half for Massabesic, followed by a goal from Emma Rutledge soon after to give the Mustangs the 2- 0 lead at half.
Although the Hawks battled back in the second, Massabesic was able to hold on for the win.
Cheverus 3, Sanford 2
After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, the Spartans surged in the second by scoring two goals, each from Kyleigh Cote. Despite the comeback, the Stags pulled ahead with 7:42 remaining and held the lead for the remainder of the game.
Thornton Academy 4, Windham 1
The Trojans topped Windham Tuesday afternoon in a one-sided affair.
Taylor Oullette got the Trojans on the board with a goal in the first half off an impressive pass from Cat Henaire. Henaire would once again get an assist when Grace Decker scored off of a pass from her.
Henaire would later get a goal of her own on a penalty stroke, and Decker added another goal with 5:27 remaining in the game.
