Southern Maine Health Care’s Adult Day Service Program promotes the well-being of people with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Participants enjoy activities in a therapeutic environment designed to maximize their abilities. For the caregiver, the program offers support and education as well as a break from the responsibility of providing 24-hour care. The program is held 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at The Pavilion, 35 July St., Sanford. Call 490-7650.
