During their recent “Day of Caring,” students from the Middle School of the Kennebunks stopped by the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk. Students were given the choice to help out a several local organizations, and those at the Animal Welfare Society said they were grateful their organization was chosen.

The students brought handmade beds for the cats and homemade gluten-free cookies for the dogs. Shelter volunteers gave the students and teachers a tour of the facility.
