SANFORD — Elizabeth R. Caron, 92, of Sanford, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
She was born in Sanford on April 29, 1924, a daughter of the late George and Ellen (Brown) Ashworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Raymond Caron, and one son, Wayne Caron.
She is survived by: her daughter, Jane Hackett; granddaughter, Janellen McCabe; son-in-law, Milton McCabe IV; grandson, Raymond Hackett; great-grandson, Parker McCabe; step-grandchildren, Milton McCabe V and Kayla McCabe; sister, Evelyn Strain; nephews, Andrew Strain and William Strain; and daughter-in-law, Marsha Caron.
At her request, there will be no services. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.
