SACO — “Art, Artifacts, and Anecdotes: 150 Years of Collecting at the Saco Museum” will be on display from June 11 to Oct. 30.

Many of these artifacts come with fascinating accounts of the people who owned or made them. Join the musuem this summer as it explores the intriguing stories – sometimes true and sometimes not – behind noteworthy objects in the museum’s collection. From portraits by noted artist John Brewster Jr., to finely crafted furniture, to a 1950s bass drum from the Vacationland Drum and Bugle Corps, there will be something of interest for all to see.
