
UNE students picked up debris at Freddy Beach at the UNE campus and at Wells Beach.
Students picked up debris from Freddy Beach once a week over a six-week period, collecting 1,300 pieces of trash. They also collected 537 pieces of trash from two clean up sessions at Wells Beach.
The majority of debris collected was made of plastic.
